Sporting fans trolled
Barcelona fans during their Champions League clash on Wednesday evening as the Portuguese fans chanted
Cristiano Ronaldo’s name.
Barcelona were unable to break Sporting down for a pretty hefty period of time but eventually made the breakthrough courtesy of a Sebastian Coates goal.
Sporting were able to hold the game at 1-0 but were unable to get a goal back themselves as the Catalan club sealed the three points.
The club was without star signing Ousmane Dembele as the Frenchman begins his road to recovery following injury, in which he is expected to recover after two months.
Though, one of the biggest talking points from the game was the fans trolling the Spanish side by chanting the name of their arch enemy.
That comes in the form of former Sporting Lisbon star
Cristiano Ronaldo, now of Real Madrid which will no doubt have rubbed Barcelona fans up the wrong way.
Even still, it would have done nothing to dampen the mood of the Barcelona support or their side who will be happy with all three points during a difficult away trip.
Safe to say,
Cristiano Ronaldo will be cracking a smile this evening.
